    Pet Custody Mediation

Navigating pet custody during divorce or separation can be challenging. As a Pet Custody Mediator, I facilitate neutral discussions between parties to create effective and compassionate pet custody agreements. Mediation is a voluntary and confidential process in which both parties willingly participate in developing mutually agreed-upon terms related to living arrangements, financial responsibilities, veterinary care decisions, and visitation schedules. I focus on the pet’s well-being, considering factors such as breed, history, and energy levels to support the parties in reaching an agreement that reflects the animal’s needs. The terms reached in mediation are documented in a written agreement called a Memorandum of Understanding, designed to provide clarity and minimize future disputes. My goal is to prioritize the best interests of your beloved companion.

    Mediation Fees

Pet custody mediation is conducted in a three-hour session.

The flat fee is $900 and includes preparation, the mediation session, and drafting of the written agreement. Fees are due prior to mediation. Additional time may be scheduled as needed.

I have the unique ability to help owners with behavioral support services that are designed to help pet owners understand and manage their pet's behavior during times of transition between homes or custody arrangements. Whether it's anxiety, separation anxiety, or reactivity that your dog is experiencing, I provide strategies and guidance to help your pet adjust successfully.
